Our Story
State Street Collective started with two college guys in Lexington and one street. If you’ve spent a Saturday on State Street, you already know the feeling: game day, your friends, the whole block going at once. We wanted something that felt like that and that you could actually wear the rest of the week. So we started making it ourselves. Every hat and hoodie is embroidered in Kentucky, and we still pack every order. Whether you’re a student here now, a parent who visits for game days, or someone who graduated years ago and still thinks about those Saturdays, this is for you.
The Founders
Two University of Kentucky students who started making the hats we couldn’t find anywhere else. Every piece is designed, embroidered, and packed by us, start to finish. What started on State Street is just getting going, and we’re glad you’re here for it.
Our mission
Make apparel that people in Lexington are proud to wear. No cheap prints. No designs that look like everything else in the campus bookstore. Just quality embroidery, clean designs, and pieces that hold up long after the season ends.
Our vision
To be the brand Lexington claims as its own. Five years from now, we want our hat to be the one you see everywhere: at tailgates, in class, at the bar, and in airports far from Kentucky. We’re building something that lasts, and we’re just getting started.
